Yardbird is located at 901 New York Ave NW Washington, DC 20001.

What are the hours of operation?

Yardbird is open Monday-Friday from 11:00am-10:00pm with happy hour from 3:00pm-6:00pm, as well as Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am-10:00pm. Brunch is served from 10:00am-4:00pm.

What is on the menu at Yardbird?

I had the gluten-free chicken and waffles, and as I mentioned, hands down it was the best I’ve had. Normally, fried gluten-free chicken doesn’t have the proper taste or crunch, but Yardbird’s version had the perfect delivery.

For the gluten-free items on the menu, Yardbird has a separate cooking station to reduce cross-contamination, so I was comfortable with enjoying the gluten-free chicken and waffles.

My husband had fried chicken with buttermilk biscuits and our friend had the smoked brisket huevos rancheros. They both enjoyed their meals!

What is the environment like?

The decor is elegant yet comfortable, with rustic wooden accents and cozy booths that make you feel right at home.

What is the service like at Yardbird?

Everyone we encountered on the staff was friendly and attentive, providing top-notch service that ensures your every need will be met. Specifically, our server was great and helpful with navigating the menu and other dietary restrictions.
