How to make Mango BBQ Meatballs
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
Dice one yellow onion and mince the garlic cloves. Sautee them together with a bit of olive oil until the onions are translucent and the garlic is fragrant. This should take about 5 minutes.
In a large bowl combine the ground beef, sautéed onions and garlic, and the spices. Mix well.
Make even-sized meatballs. I like to use a tablespoon or a small scoop, depending on what size meatballs I want.
Add meatballs to an oven-safe baking dish. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked all the way through.
In the last few minutes of the meatballs cooking, heat about ½ cup of the mango BBQ sauce in a small saucepan. When the sauce has been heated, add the meatballs to the sauce and toss to ensure all the meatballs are completely covered.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
