Vegetable Broth

This simple vegetable broth recipe is great to consume as is or to use as the base for so many other recipes.

Cook Time 45 minutes
Course Dinner, lunch

Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium carrots
  • 2 medium parsnips
  • 4 celery stalks
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 sprigs of rosemary
  • 2 sprigs of thyme
  • 1 tsp. whole black peppercorns
  • sea salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the ingredients.
  • Add the ingredients to a large pot. Bring to a boil, then allow to simmer for 45 minutes to an hour.
  • Strain the vegetable broth and enjoy!
