Banana Walnut Muffins

Start your day with this classic gluten-free banana walnut muffin recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 ½ cup gluten-free flour
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat your oven to 350F.
  • Combine your dry ingredients (gluten-free flour, almond flour, baking soda and powder, and salt) in a bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, mash your bananas. Slowly incorporate your sugar, butter, and eggs.
  • Once you’ve mixed your wet ingredients, slowly add your dry ingredients.
  • Lastly, fold in the walnuts.
  • Add batter to lined muffin tins.
  • Bake in the oven at 350F for 25-30 minutes. Check with a toothpick.
